Auto-accelerate Function, 5 Speeds and Pulse
The auto-accelerate function gradually increases the speed from 0 to 11,000 rotations per minute within 15 seconds. Even the toughest recipes can be blended in one go. The AUTO position has a unique speed profile to easily process any recipe. The blender automatically increases it's speed in 15 seconds to the maximum speed and then keeps running at this speed. AUTO setting is basically used for processing smoothies or thick soups, when blending tomatoes or when dealing with other challenging jobs. Use the AUTO position also for small amounts to avoid splashing.

Pulse Switch
When you push the pulse switch to PULSE (left switch) and hold it in this position, the blender starts to operate at the highest speed. As soon as you release the pulse switch, it returns back to its original position. pulse button is recommended if you want to have more control over processing the job, for instance when you are chopping.
