One of the biggest killers of coffee machines is the build up of scale.

Gaggia have now replaced their descaling tablets with a fluid

Instructions for use on coffee machines without an automatic descaling program.

1. Pour the entire contents into the machine's water tank
2. Turn the machine on and dispense 2 cups of water (approx 150ml each) through the steam wand
3. Switch off the main power button of the machine
4. Allow the descaling solution to sit in the machine for 15-20 minutes
5. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until there is no descaling solution remaining in the tank.
6. Rinse the water tank with water nad refill.
7. Rinse the coffee machine internally by dispensing about 2 litres of water through the steam wand. If your machine has no steam wand dispense 3 cups of water through the brew head..
8. On bean to cup machines remove the brewing unit and rinse with clean water
